I was told that my cousin was arrested because he was suppose to know something about this murder that took place around where he lived but at the time of the murder he was at work. The police held him because they said that if he wasn’t the one who actually did the murder then he knew who did..This was almost 5 years ago and he still hasn’t came home yet. I looked him up on the computer by his name and number and it says that he has 2 drug charges and the sentence for 1 charge was 20 years and for the other is 10. There isn’t a release date for him anywhere in site. They have told us 3 times in the past 4years that he is coming home but nothing yet. I just heard the other day that the police told his mother and sister that they dropped all charges against him and he scheduled to be released real soon. This is the 4th time that they have told us that he is coming home and nothing has happened. What is really going on in the world today. Could somebody please explain to me what it means not to have a release date if you were not sentence to life in prison. Even the people with life sentences are posted when you look them up. If you get ur money on the street then the pigs is coming for you regardless of race, Each day the population in americas prisons continues to rise and currently stand close to 3 million. A rapist can be back on the street in 10 years but a homeboi can get 25 to Life on some drug charges. Bullshit right!! First of all Brother, I am 34 years old and I was in the system in Florida, I was released on Dec. 31 of 2005 and the prison are filled up with blacks, hispanics and other non-white races and whites are a small number of the population, crackers in their get better jobs even in prison, while blacks and all others work in the hot sun, the system now is filled up with blacks in prison for violating parole and probation for minor shit, I was in their with brothers that had 17 to life in prison for their first offence, You know brother Plies that Florida justice is fucked up and I agree with your song 100 years, 3 keys for a black man is life but a whites for money laudering, computer scams, selling pounds of weed and coke and only get probation and less than 7 years, yes its a double standard in the system and you exposed them as the racist dogs they are, they oversentence and illegally sentence blacks here in Florida, I know for a fact of this cause I was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months for a probation violation and mine was a minor violation, cause I was under the 65% law, I only did 22 months. ya i know what it feels like to have some one close to locked up cuz it seems like everyone i get close to get locked up. My cousin 15 years too and they hollered mandatory also he dont get out til 2012 and the thing about that is the man that was shot told the police that he had nothin to do with it but the police said that the reason they locked him up is because he wouldn’t tell who did it……And i also have a friend who just got locked up a couple months ago for a drug bust he haven’t even been to trial yet but his lawyer told him he would have to do at least 7 years because he would have to finish his probation time in jail and he had 5 years probation left…

I’m a single mother and I’m raising a son without his father and it is the hardest thing that I ever had to do. My kids father have been in jail 85% of their lives. I just worry about my son falling in his father’s footsteps. I let him listened to your “REAL TALK”, I don’t try to hide him from life ’cause I know he have to live his on life . Rappers don’t really touch on the prison system and what effects that it has on our children when their mother and father aren’t there ’cause they are in prison. I was told that my cousin was arrested because he was suppose to know something about this murder that took place around where he lived but at the time of the murder he was at work. The police held him because they said that if he wasn’t the one who actually did the murder then he knew who did..This was almost 5 years ago and he still hasn’t came home yet. I looked him up on the computer by his name and number and it says that he has 2 drug charges and the sentence for 1 charge was 20 years and for the other is 10. There isn’t a release date for him anywhere in site. They have told us 3 times in the past 4years that he is coming home but nothing yet. I just heard the other day that the police told his mother and sister that they dropped all charges against him and he scheduled to be released real soon. This is the 4th time that they have told us that he is coming home and nothing has happened. What is really going on in the world today. Could somebody please explain to me what it means not to have a release date if you were not sentence to life in prison. Even the people with life sentences are posted when you look them up. First of all Brother, I am 34 years old and I was in the system in Florida, I was released on Dec. 31 of 2005 and the prison are filled up with blacks, hispanics and other non-white races and whites are a small number of the population, crackers in their get better jobs even in prison, while blacks and all others work in the hot sun, the system now is filled up with blacks in prison for violating parole and probation for minor shit, I was in their with brothers that had 17 to life in prison for their first offence, You know brother Plies that Florida justice is fucked up and I agree with your song 100 years, 3 keys for a black man is life but a whites for money laudering, computer scams, selling pounds of weed and coke and only get probation and less than 7 years, yes its a double standard in the system and you exposed them as the racist dogs they are, they oversentence and illegally sentence blacks here in Florida, I know for a fact of this cause I was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months for a probation violation and mine was a minor violation, cause I was under the 65% law, I only did 22 months. My cousin 15 years too and they hollered mandatory also he dont get out til 2012 and the thing about that is the man that was shot told the police that he had nothin to do with it but the police said that the reason they locked him up is because he wouldn’t tell who did it……And i also have a friend who just got locked up a couple months ago for a drug bust he haven’t even been to trial yet but his lawyer told him he would have to do at least 7 years because he would have to finish his probation time in jail and he had 5 years probation left…
